Associate Professor Georges Farhat has authored a chapter on aspects of the historical and current relationships between infrastructure and landscape, in both theories and practices. The chapter, titled "Infrastructural Landscape: Beyond Memory and Metaphor," was published in the book Infrastructural Urbanism (collection Basics, Berlin: DOM publishers, 2011, p. 273-287), following the international conference Infrastruktururbanismus, held February 4-5, 2010 at the Technische Universität München, Institute for Urban Design, Urbanism and Landscape, Munich.
