31.07.12 - Dave Freedman gives us something to wright home

Since winning the Howarth-Wright Graduate Fellowship earlier this year, Master of Architecture student Dave Freedman has travelled to Buffalo, Pleasantville, New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington D.C. (among other locales) to study the work of Frank Lloyd Wright. Wish you could tag along for the ride? Freedman has started a tumblr called something to wright home, where he is sharing his photographs, videos, and musings.

Established in 2000 by former Dean and Professor Emeritus Thomas Howarth, the Howarth-Wright fellowship is awarded every other year to a student in the second or third year of the Master of Architecture program on the basis of high academic achievement, interest in the work of Frank Lloyd Wright, research skills in architectural history, and the overall strength of his or her research proposal. Freedman's study will focus on the unbuilt tower, the Mile-High Illinois.
