A video of the event Mediating Landscape: A Conversation with David Lieberman and Niamh O’Laoghaire has been posted on the University of Toronto Art Centre's website. This discussion is part of UTAC's Art with Insight Conversations and was held in conjunction with David Lieberman’s exhibition The Alchemist’s Garden, which ran from October to December 2012.

Lieberman and Niamh O'Laoghair's discussion contextualizes the art practice of both historical and contemporary landscape design. They explore the use of architectural scale sculptural installations to enable the understanding of the relationship between architecture and landscape. The pieces of Lieberman's exhibition, including digital landscape paintings and an hour long film, are a fragment of a larger body of work including multiple mixed-media renderings, sculptural maquettes, soundscapes, and poetic text.
