Kunal Chaudhry (MUD'09) was awarded second place in Socio Design Foundation's 2010 Annual International Professional and Student Design Competition.

FOSTERED: SPACE FOR THE HOMELESS CHILD participants were challenged to develop an architectural design to foster healthy emotional development for a homeless child or homeless children. They were asked to consider who are the world’s homeless children? – refugees, orphans, children in foster care, children in poverty, those in poor family structures, the disowned, runaways… What challenges must they face in order to become well-adjusted adults?
