Bureau E.A.S.T., (Prof. Aziza Chaouni) in collaboration with NGO Zaila, Butterfly Works,  Prof. Liat Margolis, Sahara Roots and the Moroccan Ministry of Tourism (SMIT), organized a workshop in the village of Mhamid El Ghizlane, in Southern Morocco between 02/24/10 and 02/27/10. Involving 60 local women, the workshop investigated how recycled materials and traditional craft methods can produce different products, to be used in the interior design of the ecolodge Taragalt, which Bureau E.A.S.T. is designing and building thanks to a Jeffrey Cook Grant.

This workshop coincided with the Taragalt Saharan Music Festival, and marked the official launch of the ecolodge construction site.
