19.05.09 - Professor Ed Fife Honored for 40 Years of Excellence
On Thursday, May 14th, faculty, students, staff and industry colleagues gathered to celebrate Professor Ed Fife’s forty years of service. Professor Fife was presented with a ‘Stormy Kromer Original Plaid’ hat by Professor Robert Wright on behalf of the students, faculty and staff, and a certificate recognizing his contribution to the profession by Lawrence Stasiuk, president of the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects.
Daniels students, faculty, staff and alumni contributed to plant a tree on the UofT campus in honor of Professor Fife’s untiring efforts and devotion to education and to ecological and horticultural planting in particular.
Professor Fife has been teaching at the Daniels faculty since 1969 and has taught design studios, design criticism and courses related to urban environmental systems and vegetative ecology.
