31.05.11 - Baird Sampson Neuert architects Win OAA Best in Show
Baird Sampson Neuert architects’ recently completed Cornell Plantations Welcome Center was the recipient of a 2011 Ontario Association of Architects, Design Excellence Award. The project was also just announced, from among more than a dozen excellent projects, as the 2011 ‘Best in Show’ for “best fulfilling the judging criteria in the Design Excellence category.” In addition to excellence in design, the project strived for exemplary environmental outcomes and is set to become Cornell University’s first LEED Platinum building.
