11.09.07 - An Te Liu awarded Canada Council for the Arts Berlin Residency

Professor An Te Liu (http://www.anteliu.com/) is the 2007-08 recipient of the Canada Council for the Arts International Residency program in the Visual Arts, Berlin component. Liu was short listed by a peer assessment committee at the Canada Council for the Arts and then awarded the prestigious twelve month residency by a separate assessment committee in Berlin.

The residency includes a studio at the international arts centre, Künstlerhaus Bethanien, an apartment residence, and major research and project funding. The Visual Arts International Residencies program was created in 2002 to help Canadian artists develop, promote and distribute their work internationally. Current residencies exist in Berlin, New York, Paris and London.
