Aziza Chaouni (Extramuro) and Takako Tajima (Urban Studio) will be presenting their collaborative research and masterplan for the Fez River, Morocco at the ECLAS (European Council of Landscape Architecture Schools) Conference. The project was led with the RADEEF, the Water Works Department of the City of Fez, Morocco. It integrates systems for water remediation with public spaces along the Fez river. The first phase of the project focused on public spaces adjacent to the river inside the old city of Fez, the Medina. The presented paper will be published in the forthcoming conference proceedings.
