19.06.13 - The Class of 1963 celebrates its 50th anniversary

June 6th marked the 50th anniversary of alumni who graduated from the University of Toronto's School of Architecture (as it was called back then) in 1963.

At the time Dr. Thomas Howarth, an expert on the work of Scottish architect Charles Rennie Macintosh, was the director of the school. (He later became the Dean when the School was granted Faculty status in 1967.)

A 50th Anniversary Ceremony was held at Convocation Hall to honour the alumni. Those in attendance were presented with a 50th anniversary pin at the event.

Attendees present at the event included: Alex Chiu, Helge DuBois, Jim Evans, Wiley Freeman, Peter Favot, Jim Sykes, Julian Trasiewiez, Cris Tworkowski, and Andrew Zdanwiez.

The Daniels Faculty would like to extend its congratulations and wish a happy 50th anniversary to all 1963 graduates.
