Emily Lin (MArch 3) and Scott Ling (MArch 3) have received a citation for their submission in the ACSA Green Community Design Competition.  Sponsored by Professor David Lieberman, the two developed a proposal that addressed both buildings and the spaces between in order to design a socially and economically sustainable community for post-Katrina New Orleans.  The project was a further development of work originally completed for Janna Levitt and David Warne’s Sustainable Cities Option Studio from the fall term of 2008.  The submission was selected from 260 submissions representing 1322 student participants and approximately 200 faculty members from 76 universities and 15 countries.
