InfraNet Lab (Professor Mason White, Maya Przybylski, Neeraj Bhatia, Lola Sheppard) will deliver the keynote talk and run a 2-day workshop titled "Territorial Ecologies" at the Theory Forum 09, Sheffield University, UK on November 13-14.

This year’s theme is centred on the term ecology. In architecture, ecology focuses on the impact of the built form on the environment and society. It recognizes the importance of theoretical research as a foundation for development in everything from sustainable design to community development. Theory Forum addresses the notion of ecology and architecture. How is ecology translated from other fields of research into architecture?

The workshop exercise will build upon a body of ongoing research and design propositions for the Arctic region and its complex and fragile ecologies.
