The exhibition Out of Water, Innovative Technologies in Arid Climates by Professors Chaouni and Margolis opened at the Knowlton School of Architecture on October 26th.

The exhibition was first launched in the Larry Wayne Richards Gallery at the Daniels Faculty in April 2009 and was also featured at the Architectural League in NY during the summer of 2009.

Out of Water is an ongoing research which includes three main components: a geographical investigation of water scarcity in arid climates on a global and regional scales; the development of a compendium of water integrated technologies; as well as speculative projects for the future of dry cities.
