05.11.14 - Daniels Faculty alumni celebrated at U of T's Arbor Awards ceremony

Since 1989, more than 2,100 alumni and friends have received Arbor Awards for their tremendous generosity and contribution to the experience of University of Toronto students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Sponsored by University Advancement, the award can be granted for contributions to specific academic units, such as faculties, colleges, or institutes, or to the university at large. This year we were thrilled to recognize the contributions of three Daniels Faculty alumni: Pina Petricone (BArch 1991), Sonia Ramundi (MArch, 2012), and Andréa Callà (BArch 1982).

The information below is from U of T’s Alumni pages.

Andréa Callà

An alumnus of the John H Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design, Andréa provides career advice and guidance to students and young alumni. He is an active member of the Campaign Cabinet and supporter of the Daniels transformative One Spadina project. Past service includes work on the U of T Information Technology Design Centre and the St. Michael’s College campus master plan.

Pina Petricone

Pina is a highly engaged member of the Daniels Faculty's Campaign Cabinet and an advocate for the Faculty's landmark expansion and renovation of One Spadina. Her assistance in identifying and cultivating prospective supporters, her leadership of the Faculty and Staff Appeal and her work in securing faculty participation have been a tremendous asset to the Faculty's fundraising efforts.

Sonia Ramundi

Sonia actively supports the academic mission of Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design by offering a young alumna's perspective to the Master of Architecture Accreditation process and the Daniels Faculty Provostial Review. Sonia also mentors and supports Daniels students. She has helped to advance Faculty fundraising by appearing on the Daniels Campaign Video, which has more than 17,000 views on YouTube.
