Lily is a creative facilitator that applies multidisciplinary methods and intersectional lenses to design, education, and community organizing. As the Studio Technologist at Daniels, they work under the umbrella of the Applied Technologies staff. Students can tap into Lily at the Studio Help Desks as a first point of contact for studio work support. They help with design, model making, digital fabrication, material sourcing, tool lending, design software, photography, portfolios, managing studio spaces/systems like the material re-use GIFT stations and more. Ask them anything!

Outside of Daniels, Lily is often found working in collectives to organize for structural changes towards equitable stewardship of our built, natural, and cultural environments, with relational practices at the core. Some such work is done with SHEEEPschool of which they are a co-founder, the Toronto Architecture Lobby of which they are an organizer, the Toronto Chinatown Land Trust of which they are a board member, and more. They have overseen a range of fabrication spaces and programs in past staff roles at U of T’s Faculty of Engineering, TMU’s Design Fabrication Zone and the Toolbox Initiative, and they have also helped set up workshop facilities at Eventscape and Makerspace YK in Yellowknife.
