Shirley Chan is the Research Services Officer at the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design. In this pivotal role, she manages a wide array of programs and projects related to research ensuring the Daniels Faculty remains at the cutting edge of innovation. As the go-to person for research-related inquiries, Shirley navigates the complexities of liaising with sponsoring agencies, managing project implementations, and overseeing research processes. Her strategic insights and tailored solutions empower faculty members to excel in their research endeavors.

Before joining the Daniels Faculty, Shirley gained extensive research experience at St. Michael’s Hospital and Sunnybrook Hospital. With a wealth of experience in research strategy and management, she brings a unique blend of analytical talent and creative problem-solving to the table, driving the Faculty’s research success.

Shirley holds a Bachelor of Science in Toxicology and Human Biology from the University of Toronto and a Certificate in Accounting from Ryerson University. Her diverse educational background and passion for research make her an invaluable asset to the Daniels Faculty.
