This course is a reading seminar with George Baird. The readings comprise a set of texts taken from his 2015 anthology Writings on Architecture and the City, texts written across the span of his career as an architectural and urban theorist, historian and critic. Students in the seminar will be asked to prepare commentaries on the texts, one text per week, to launch the seminar discussion for the class as a whole.
