CANCELLED: March Break Tours

Daniels March Break 2020 tours have been cancelled, as have all other tours until further notice.

The University of Toronto has been closely monitoring the spread of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). In consultation with public health authorities across the province, we have cancelled our March Break campus tours (originally scheduled for March 16–21) to limit discretionary person-to-person contact during this critical period. Join us for a tour of our facilities at One Spadina Crescent and the North & South Borden buildings, which are home to the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design.

Our March Break tours from March 16-20, 2020 will run for roughly 30 minutes and will be led by one of our current student ambassadors or a recent alum of our faculty. You will have the opportunity to learn more about our programs, explore our world renowned facilities and hear from a student about their experiences studying here. These tours are open to current applicants and future prospective students.

Note:If you have additional questions, admissions staff will be available to assist in answering your personal questions prior to or following your tour.

U of T's annual fall event for future students, Fall Campus Day is a perfect opportunity for students, their parents, family and friends to visit the campus and find out more about our programs, colleges, residences, student life, and much more! Campus and residence tours, mini-lectures, and presentations from the different faculties will be running throughout the day.

Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to learn more about our undergraduate programs in Architectural Studies and Visual Studies, meet with Faculty and students, tour the Daniels faculty, and more. Ontario Universities' Fair

Each year, the Ontario Universities’ Fair (OUF) attracts thousands of students from around the GTA, Ontario, Canada and beyond for the opportunity to meet representatives from each of the 21 universities in Ontario. Students interested in undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto are welcome to visit us during the OUF on Friday, Saturday or Sunday – September 27 to 29. The Daniels Faculty will be part of the U of T booth and will be represented by faculty, current students and staff who can answer your questions about applying to and studying at U of T and the Daniels Faculty. This is a great way to start researching your options and engaging with the University of Toronto. We hope to meet you there!

Join us in The Main Hall, on the main floor of One Spadina. Our Dean, Richard Sommer, will provide a brief welcome overview of our faculty. You will have the opportunity to mix and mingle with current faculty, students and staff. More information regarding your next steps will also be available. Light refreshments will be served.

For those available earlier, we will also be holding a tour of the Daniels Faculty building promptly at 5:00pm. Space is limited, so be sure to register here.

NOTE: Final reviews at the Daniels Building are cancelled. Instead, this semester's final reviews will be held online. 

Daniels Faculty students in our undergraduate and graduate programs in architecture, landscape, and urban design will present their final projects to their instructors, as well as guest critics from the professional community and local and international academic institutions. The student presentations are part of their final exam requirements and they will be graded on their work.

All reviews take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (unless otherwise stated). Upon arrival at One Spadina, please look for signage directing you to the location of reviews or stop by the Office of the Registrar and Student Services in Room 100 for more information. 

Alumni, future students, and members of the public are welcome to join us for final reviews. If you are an alumnus or alumna planning to attend reviews, we would like to welcome you personally. Alumni are encouraged to email John Cowling if they plan to attend.

Registration is not required. No formal programming will be provided. Please note that the times and dates of the review schedule may change.
