Text-Chats for Prospective Students

Have questions about the Architectural Studies or Visual Studies programs at Daniels or how to apply to our Faculty? Sign up for one (or more!) of our Live Text-Chat sessions to chat with a Daniels recruitment/admissions officer as well as a current student. Mondays from 10am-11am.

Webinars for Prospective Students

Find out about your program options within the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design at U of T! Our Recruitment and Admissions staff will walk you through our program offerings and talk about some of the highlights of attending Daniels. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions about admission requirements, the One Idea supplementary application, and the application process in general. Fridays from 10am-11am.

Fall Campus Week

Every fall, we host a Fall Campus Day open house at One Spadina to give you the opportunity to discover the exciting things happening at Daniels. We’re not able to open our doors to visitors this year, so instead we’re hosting a day of programming at Daniels on Wednesday October 21 as part of U of T's week-long series of online events.

Virtual Meet & Greet!

Are you ready to meet your new classmates? Daniels is hosting a virtual meet-and-greet this August - and you’re invited! 

This will be a fun, casual session where you can you meet other students from all around the world who will be joining the U of T community this September. Have a laugh, share your story, and share a few inside jokes about this unique summer. Each chat will be hosted by Daniels alumni, representing your new global network of 600,000+ U of T graduates working, innovating, and trailblazing in over 190 countries.

There is a choice of two times for this session and we will be able to accommodate all students, but please note that space in each slot is limited. If you find one of the sessions is already full, please register for the other one.

Alumni Panel: Where Will Your U of T Degree Take You?

Graduates of our programs have gone on to successful careers in a diverse range of roles and industry sectors all over the world. If you choose U of T, you will become part of a global network of more than 600,000 alumni in 190 countries. Imagine where a degree from U of T can take you as you join our panel discussion with two or three Daniels graduates. Our alumni will share what they are doing in the world now and how their Daniels and U of T student experiences shaped their career paths. Bring your questions!

We are offering the same Alumni Panel twice to accommodate different time zones. Select the one that works best for you in your part of the world.

NOTE: This event has been cancelled.

Join us in The Main Hall, on the main floor of One Spadina. Our Dean, Richard Sommer, will provide a brief welcome overview of our faculty. You will have the opportunity to mix and mingle with current faculty, students and staff. More information regarding your next steps will also be available. Light refreshments will be served.

2020 Undergraduate Welcome Event and Academic Orientation

Our Welcome Event & Academic Orientation will now be provided in an online format throughout the month of July as we are not able to meet in person at this time. Information will be posted to provide you with an opportunity to learn more about degree requirements, how course selection works, what you can expect in your first year of study. An opportunity to ask questions and to meet faculty, student services staff, and other students will be coordinated for mid-late July.
