If you do not enrol in courses by the September 2 deadline, your registration status for the session is automatically changed to "Financially Cancelled." Session Load

Students may take a maximum session load of 6.0 full course equivalents (FCE) across the Fall/Winter academic session. Note that the maximum session load is set at 5.0 FCE until priority is removed for course enrolment. On August 2, priorities are removed and the maximum session load is changed from 5.0 to 6.0 FCE; course enrolment opens on the student online service.

Students may take a maximum term load of 6 courses (or 3.0 FCE) in each of the Fall (September to December) and the Winter (January to April) terms, unless their academic status is “On Probation.” Students on academic probation may take a maximum term load of 5 courses (or 2.5 FCE) in each of the Fall and Winter terms.

Students should always try to balance their course enrolments across the Fall and the Winter, if possible. If you are enrolled in more than the maximum allowable term load, you will be removed from excess course enrolments on an on-going basis until after the last day to add courses. It is a student’s responsibility to monitor course enrolment and adhere to the maximum term load regulations.
