Programs of Study - Specialists, Majors and Minors | VISUAL STUDIES
One of your graduation requirements is that you need to complete an appropriate combination of programs of study.
The Daniels Program of Study Enrollment GUIDE is available online. Additional information about specific program requirements and description can be found in the Undergraduate Academic Calendar.
The Daniels Faculty currently offers the following programs of study:
Visual Studies
After your first year of study, in the Major in Visual Studies AHMAJ2000, with the completion of 4.0 Credits, you may choose to pursue one of the directed Specialist streams.
- AHSPE2001 Specialist in Visual Studies: Studio Stream
- AHSPE2002 Specialist in Visual Studies: Critical Practices Stream
You may also choose to continue with the Major in Visual Studies, in which case, you must also enroll in one of the following:
- a Major in another subject area, OR
- two Minors in other subject areas
Steps to Enrolling in Daniels Programs of Study
- Step 1: Submit a request on ACORN - April 29, 2022
- Step 2: Check results of your requests on ACORN - June 20, 2022
- Step 3: Accept invitation to program-July 6th, 2022, or before course enrolment
Arts & Science Programs of Study
As soon as you complete 4.0 Credits, you are eligible to enrol/request a program of study offered through the Faculty of Arts & Science. You are able to combine your required Daniels Subject Program with many programs of study offered through the Faculty of Arts & Science.
