Sessional Dates

School of Graduate Studies Sessional Dates

Daniels sets additional sessional dates specific to the MArch, MLA, MUD, and MVS programs such as elective course enrolment start dates. It is your responsibility to be aware of the general sessional dates set by SGS and the Daniels sessional dates for your program.  Please note that course add/drop dates are not the same as the fee refund schedule. Deadlines for fee payment, fee refund schedules and other financial dates are posted on the Student Accounts website.

2020 Fall Session

August  
August 1 Forestry students begin course enrolment on ACORN
All other Daniels students may begin enrolling in outside Faculty electives via ACORN

Recommended tuition fee payment deadline for students registering or starting their program in the Fall to ensure payment is received by the registration deadline of September 11, and to avoid cancellation of registration and course enrolment.

The U of T does not mail fee invoices to students. You are informed of fees payable by way of ACORN where you may view your account in invoice format. Every transaction is posted to your account. All students are expected to monitor all account activity. Tuition is updated in real time and always reflects the most current situation.

Once your minimum payment to register is paid or you have deferred your fees, you will be considered a registered student.

Final Examination and Studio Review Period

The final examination period runs until December 22, 2020. Please note that all students are expected to make themselves available throughout the examination period, until the final examination schedule has been confirmed.  It is possible that final exams/reviews may be scheduled on December 22, 2020.

April 5 Requests for Summer elective course overloads will be considered. Such requests may be sent at any time to registrar@daniels.utoronto.ca but will not be processed until this after date. Please include your student number and graduate program in your email and 'Graduate Elective Course Overload Request' as your subject line.

Final Examination Period
The final examination period runs until April 30, 2021. Please note that all students are expected to make themselves available throughout the examination period, until the final examination schedule has been confirmed.  It is possible that final exams/reviews may be scheduled on April 30, 2021.
