Dear Daniels Graduate Students,
Hope you had a great first week in your courses. Below are some beginning of term reminders:
We are all excited to be back in person and seeing each other. To ensure a safe and healthy environment, the University has implemented a Policy on Non-Medical Masks and Face Coverings requiring non-medical masks to be worn indoors in all common-use spaces on University property. Remember to wear a mask at all times in the building and during classes, including studio. Only students with an approved mask exemption may be without a mask.
All members of our community who come onto U of T campuses or premises must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and are required to upload proof of vaccination via UCheck.
Access to the One Spadina building after regular building hours is given to students by a FOB key. If you are a new student and need access to a building, you can pick up your fob at One Spadina, room 100 – ORSS via appointment. FOB keys require a $100 deposit at the time of purchase, refundable upon completion of your degree.
- Step 1: Log into your Daniels Account , ORSS Services, in the Financial Services Section, click on FOB Access Key Deposit to pay online. If this is your first time to the Daniels Account, your password is your student number.
- Step 2: Make an appointment on the online booking system HERE to pick up your FOB.
- Step 3: Come to DA100 to pick up your FOB. Please have your TCard (or other photo ID) ready to pick up your FOB.
- Step 4: Go to IT to activate your fob for your print account
Returning students whose fobs are not working should first try a hotspot. A hotspot can be found outside of room 100.
Check your course enrolment on ACORN and check that you are enrolled in the current courses for your program and degree, before the last day to add classes for the F or Y session. If you are on a waitlist, and still need a course, we recommend you enrol in a course with space as course caps are not increasing any further.
