Design Research Internship Opportunity

Dear Daniels Students,

I wanted to bring to your attention a Summer Design Research Internship opportunity available to 3rd and 4th year students in the HBA AS.  This will be offered as a one-credit summer course - ARC495Y1F during the first part of the 2022 Summer Term.

The course will be coordinated by Professor Pina Petricone.  It places participating students in 15 leading Toronto Architectural Practices for a period of 6 weeks during the May-June Summer period, to work on a project bridging academic research with professional practice.  It defines models of practice, research, and interdisciplinary design, and will also help the participants build connections with members of Toronto's professional community.

The course overview, information on the application process, and on participating firms can be found at:

ARC495 has been designed to answer many of your ongoing requests for more experiential learning and career-building opportunities as part of your undergraduate studies at Daniels.  It has been formed in consultation with professional bodies and the University of Toronto.

The deadline to submit your application to the course is this Monday, April 4th, end-of-day.

More information on other Summer Course offerings still open, including a series of 2-week design-build studios offered throughout the summer, can be found at:

Wishing you all a good weekend and a good end-of-term.

Petros
