Elective Enrolment | Save the Date (Winter 2022)

Dear Students,

We hope that you have been having a wonderful Fall term. It is time to enrol in Daniels Winter Electives!

Winter elective descriptions will be posted on the website by Friday, November 12th

Elective enrolment begins on Tuesday, November 16th.

  • The timetable can be found here.  Unless specified otherwise, all Daniels courses will be in-person for the winter term.
  • As in the fall, students will enrol in sequence, according to their program and year of study.  Please see below and here for all sessional dates.
  • Students can view their Degree charts here as a guide and all of your program requirements in the SGS Calendar.
  • Elective enrolment begins on Tuesday, November 16th at 6:00am EST.
  • Once your date has begun, you will be able to continue your enrolment when ACORN is available between 6:00am – 5:00pm EST.
  • As reminder, students may enrol in electives from across the university and are not limited to those courses at Daniels (including Forestry).  If you wish to enrol in a course at another department, you may be required to complete the Add/Drop form.  All add/drop forms should be sent to registrar@daniels.utoronto.ca.

Tuesday, November 16th
(6am to 5pm)

  • Ph.D. all years (AH PHD, FO PHD, FO PHD U);
  • Post Professional M.Arch. (AH MARC1), Post Professional M.L.A. (AH MLA1);
  • M.Arch. year 4 (AH MARC YOS4, AH MARC2 YOS3);
  • M.ScF all years (FO MSCF).

Wednesday, November 17th
(6am to 5pm)

  • M.Arch. year 3 (AH MARC YOS3, AH MARC2 YOS2);
  • M.L.A. year 3 (AH MLA YOS3, AH MLA2 YOS2);
  • M.U.D. year 2;
  • M.V.S. year 2;
  • Master of Forestry Conservation (FO MFC, FO MFC2).

Thursday, November 18th
(6am to 5pm)

  • M.Arch year 2 (AH MARC YOS2, AH MARC2 YOS1);
  • M.L.A. year 2 (AH MLA YOS2, AH MLA 2 YOS1);
  • M.U.D. year 1;
  • M.V.S. year 1.

Friday, November 19th

(6am - )

  • Any/all remaining Daniels graduate students. i.e. M.Arch year 1 (AH MARC YOS1), M.L.A. year 1 (AH MLA YOS1), and Forestry.

Monday, November 22nd

  • Requests for elective course overloads will be considered. Such requests may be sent at any time to registrar@daniels.utoronto.ca but will not be processed until after Monday, November 22nd. Please include your student number and graduate program in your email and 'Graduate Elective Course Overload Request' as your subject line.
