Follow the 8 A’s to kick start your Daniels journey!

(this page updated as new information, especially regarding dates of events, becomes available)

  • If you have not already done so, please follow the instructions included in your admission package on your Join U of T Portal to accept your offer of admission by the stated deadline.
  • Want to take a gap year? Request a deferral by September 15, 2022. Deferral requests will be reviewed starting in July 2022. See here.

2. Apply for Residence

  • There are a variety of student housing options open to Daniels Faculty students. The closest residence to our building is New College and many Daniels students also stay in the Chestnut Residence. There is a residence option to suit any need, including accessibility. U of T St. George residents live in one of the seven college residences, in Loretto College Residence for Women, in Chestnut Residence, or in Student Family Housing. Please explore all the options here. See our at-a-glance residence comparison chart (PDF) and the detailed residence descriptions for St. George campus (PDF) for information on eligibility, costs, locations, move-in dates, features, accessibility, and contacts all in one place!
  • If you are interested in living in one the many residences on campus, ensure you submit your StarRez application by March 31, 2022
  • The Department of Student Housing also provides U of T students with various resources to help secure off-campus housing, if not living in residence.
  • For COVID-19 related residence FAQ's, please see here.
