Below you will find a list of travel awards, fellowships, and scholarships open to Daniels students. Travel awards, fellowships, and scholarships are an excellent way to fund your research, travel to sites of interest to you, and gain experience researching in new and exciting locations. Applicants must be in good academic standing. Descriptions of the award/scholarship eligibility requirements can be found below.

The following travel awards require applications that are reviewed by the Daniels Faculty Awards Committee.

Open to both graduate and undergraduate students:

• George T. Goulstone Fellowship
• Peter Prangnell Award (Canadian citizen/permanent resident, Ontario residents)

Open to graduate students:

• Howarth-Wright Graduate Fellowship
• Pamela Manson-Smith Travel Fellowship
• Paul Oberman Graduate Student Endowment Fund Award
• Douglas Kenneth Laird Allen Travel Scholarship

The following travel awards are by application through the Daniels Graduate Travel Grant program. 

• Harry B. Kohl Award - Awarded to a senior student concluding the second or third year of the Master of Architecture program to attend a conference related to architectural practice or education who has demonstrated his or her capacity to represent the school effectively.
• Ontario Association of Landscape Architects Travel Grant - Awarded on the basis of financial need to Master of Landscape Architecture students to assist with travel expenses related to thesis research.
